In dense I/O space, addresses increment conventionally, as shown in Figure 45
and Figure 46. In sparse I/O space, I/O locations reside in the even-numbered
longwords and byte masks reside in the low 4 bits of the odd-numbered
longwords, as shown in Figure 47 and Figure 48.
