Hardware Exceptions and Interrupts
This chapter discusses the behavior of the system under hardware exceptions
and interrupts. Emphasis is placed on interrupts caused by errors as well as by
exceptions. The chapter also discusses interrupts not caused by errors, such as
interrupts of I/O devices.
The chapter covers the following topics:
