4 Bytes A pointer to the permanent memory that
has been allocated. This field is filled in
by the diagnostic the first time that it
allocates memory. The diagnostic uses
the same segment of memory for all
subsequent invocations.
The next two fields are replicated once for each directory entry that the device
supports.
Field Length Description
Directory type 4 Bytes Contains the type of directory entry that the previous
elements refer to. The only directory type currently
defined is ‘‘1’’, a self-test directory entry.
Physical address of
the module
4 Bytes This field contains the offset from the beginning of
the ROM to this component of the code.

The TURBOchannel device configuration table holds information about
TURBOchannel options present in one of the six option slots.
Figure 23 shows the format of the TURBOchannel device configuration table;
Table 51 lists its components.
