TRANSFERS
The
cu
command
as
supplied
with
the"
unicorn"
communications
option
can
be
used
to
transfer
files to
or
from
a
VA.X/VMS
system.
Three
files are required;
two
on
the
TNIX
system
and
one
on
the
VAXfVMS
system.
The
first file
on
the
8560
is
called
"sendit"
and
it
in
turn
calls
the
second
file
called"
transmit"
which
uses
the
8560
source
file as
standard
input.
Command
file
Description
The"
sendit"
command
file echos
the
command
to
create
a file
and
accept
input
to
the
file.
"transmit"
is
then
called
to
read
t.he
source
file line
by
line
and
output
the
lines (
to
the
host
).
When
the
file
has
been
transferred,
the
command
file
sends
a
control
D to
complete
its
function.
The
TNIX
